I wear glasses. Not all the time as I also have contacts, but I wear them when I am home which is often. I like to leave them in the bathroom, and they always tend to get hairspray overspray on them. It doesn't come off easily and I just deal with it.
I recently received some Brilliant Lenses Cleaner and optical microfiber cloth. A premium eyeglass cleaner with SR-8 that adds a protective barrier to lenses to resist scratches and soiling from water, sweat, dust and dirt. For ALL types of lenses.I was anxious to use this cleaner! I always just did the blow on them with hot air and wipe with my shirt type of cleaning. So now I felt professional and very clean! I will say that they turned out beautifully! If you look real close at my before and after pictures you will notice a big difference! I highly recommend this product to all you glasses wearers out there.

More than likely, you have seen the trailer for SECRETARIAT on TV recently. This movie is set to hit theaters October 8th, 2010.

Based on the remarkable true story, “Secretariat” chronicles the spectacular journey of the 1973 Triple Crown winner. Housewife and mother Penny Chenery (Diane Lane) agrees to take over her ailing father’s Virginia-based Meadow Stables, despite her lack of horse-racing knowledge. Against all odds, Chenery—with the help of veteran trainer Lucien Laurin (John Malkovich)—manages to navigate the male-dominated business, ultimately fostering the first Triple Crown winner in 25 years and what may be the greatest racehorse of all time.

Notes:

  • In 1973, Secretariat became the first U.S. Triple Crown champion in 25 years, setting race records that still stand today in the Kentucky Derby and the Belmont Stakes.
  • Penny Chenery, now 88, was an integral resource in the making of the film. She appears as an extra in one of the film’s scenes.
  • In 1973, Secretariat graced the covers of three magazines the same week: Time, Newsweek and Sports Illustrated.
  • Director Randall Wallace, whose directorial credits include “We Were Soldiers,” is the Oscar®- and Golden Globe®-nominated screenwriter of “Braveheart.”
  • In 1999, the U.S. Postal Service unveiled a 33-cent postage stamp with Secretariat’s image.

Against all odds, housewife and mother Penny Chenery (Diane Lane)—with the help of veteran trainer Lucien Laurin (John Malkovich)—navigates the male-dominated horse-racing business, ultimately taking Secretariat on a spectacular journey to become the first Triple Crown winner in 25 years and perhaps the greatest racehorse of all time.


I love horses and can't wait to see this movie. The fact that this is based on a true story makes it that much more exciting to see!

0 Another CSN review is in the works!

I have done reviews for CSN and most recently a giveaway for a $60 gift code. Everytime I deal with CSN it's prompt and easy! I have had great customer service, and tons of fun searching through there 200+ stores! CSN Stores has everything from cheap bedroom furniture to fantastic fitness equipment to cookware!

I am currently searching for my next review item, so keep an eye out for what I choose. In the mean time take a look at some of the items I ran across.

0 Tinker Bell & The Great Fairy Rescue! September 21st!

Disney seems to spread around a sheet of magical feelings, and fantasy! Tinker Bell, the world's most famous fairy will be helping to spread that magic for people of all ages, as the worlds of fairies and humans meet for the first time in Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue. The Blu-ray Combo Pack (includes Blu-ray and bonus DVD of the film and movie download) debuts on September 21st, 2010! I was lucky enough to be contacted & asked to review this movie before it hits the streets. I must say, I am over the moon to be reviewing this one! I absolutely love Disney movies, and Tinker Bell is one of my favorite characters. I also enjoyed sharing the experience with my daughters. Especially my oldest, who is 3. The day we received the movie, we watched it twice in a row! We have played it atleast once a day for the last 3 days! Even Daddy sat through it! It's cute, serious, funny, all rolled into this perfect little ball of Tinker Bell magic. Let me share with you some of what this movie is all about.......

"Before she was ever introduced to Wendy, and the Lost Boys, Tinker Bell met Lizzy, a girl with a steadfast belief in fairies. We love Wubbzy in this house, so when I get a chance to review a new DVD I jump! Then, when we get it in the mail we jump! We.....meaning my 3 & 1 year old girls!
