0 The Angry Beavers! SEASON ONE & TWO LODGE THEIR WAY ONTO DVD - August 23rd!

THE ANGRY BEAVERS: SEASON ONE & TWO
LODGE THEIR WAY ONTO DVD

All 26 Original Episodes From The First Two Seasons Debut
August 23, 2011 from Shout! Factory
Oh spoot! Two angry beavers will run wild on August 23, 2011, when Shout! Factory releases Angry Beavers: Season One & Two. Featuring all 26 hilarious episodes, Angry Beavers: Season One & Two follows the crazy, irreverent and hilarious adventures of twin beavers Norbert and Daggett. Long anticipated by fans, The Angry Beavers: Season One & Two has not been available in stores until now. A must have for fans of Nickelodeon, cartoon  fanatics and DVD collectors,  the four-disc DVD set has a suggested retail price of $29.93.

Like all of Nickelodeon’s classic shows, The Angry Beavers: Season One & Two features an all-star voice cast which includes Richard Steven Horvitz (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers), Nick Bakay  (Sabrina, The Teenage Witch) and Charlie Brisette (The Ren & Stimpy Show).

A favorite amongst fans and critics, The Angry Beavers: Season One & Two, follows the lives of two crazy, bon vivant beavers - Norbert Foster and Daggett Doofus Beaver - twin brothers that leave their home to begin enjoying the wild and freewheeling life of bachelorhood. These boys like to party hard and play all day until sleep deprivation drives them spootin’ mad! Fortunately, the boys have friends Stump (an actual tree stump), Barry Bear (he has a fear of clowns) and Treeflower (the love of Norbert's life) that often join the revelry. When all is said and done, the beavers have caused massive mayhem, many in fan-favorite episodes “Bummer Of Love,” “Fancy Prance,” “Food Of The Clods,” “If You Insisters,” “Beaver Fever,” “The Day The Earth Got Really Screwed Up” all of which are included in the DVD-set.
Created by Mitch Schauer, The Angry Beavers debuted on Nickelodeon in April 1997 and aired until November 2001. In 2009, the show debuted on Nickelodeon Canada (or as the beavers would say “Ca-naa-da”). The Angry Beavers is scheduled to return to Nicktoons in the summer of 2011 as part of its Nicktoons Rewind programming.

0 HEY ARNOLD! SEASON ONE on DVD! OUT TODAY at SHOUT! Factory!

On August 9th, Shout! Factory will release HEY ARNOLD!: SEASON ONE on DVD!!I used to watch this show all the time when I was younger!  I am so excited to have been provided a review copy.  I loved watching the episodes with my little girls.  It was fun to see some things that I remembered.  This is a really great cartoon!  You can purchase the DVD here! CLASSIC NICKELODEON ANIMATED SERIES FINALLY DEBUTS ON DVD

HEY ARNOLD!: SEASON ONE
Featuring All-Star Voice Cast of Dan Castellaneta, Tress MacNeille, Jamil Walker Smith, Toran Caudell and Francesaca Smith

All 20 Original Episodes Debut on DVD August 9, 2011 from Shout! Factory

Hey Arnold!, one of the most beloved animated Nickelodeon series from the 1990s, arrives in stores nationwide for the first time on August 9, 2011, from Shout! Factory. Featuring all 20 hilarious episodes, Hey Arnold!: Season One follows the adventures of Arnold, the original football-headed boy’s life in the big city alongside his Grandpa, Grandma, Abner the pig and a host of other friends and neighbors. Long anticipated by fans, Hey Arnold!: Season One has not been available in stores until now. The four-disc DVD set has a suggested retail price of $29.93. Like all of Nickelodeon’s classic shows, Hey Arnold!: Season One boasts an all-star voice cast which includes Toran Caudell (7th Heaven), Dan Castellaneta (The Simpsons, Futurama), Tress MacNeille (The Simpsons, Futurama), Jamil Walker Smith (Shark Tale) and Francesca Smith.

A favorite with viewers and critics alike, Hey Arnold! stars Arnold, a fourth grader who lives with his grandparents Phil and Gertrude, owners of the Sunset Arms boarding house. Each episode finds Arnold in a new, sticky situation, whether it’s helping out a schoolmate with their problems or dealing with his own. Unfortunately, Arnold’s predicaments are often started by Helga, a schoolmate who picks on Arnold and constantly bullies him. However, Helga only pretends to dislike Arnold to hide the fact that she is secretly in love with him!

Created by Craig Bartlett as a comic in 1986, Hey Arnold! debuted as an animated short for the Nickelodeon film Harriet the Spy in 1996. Hey Arnold! went on to air on Nickelodeon from 1996 to 2001. The show also aired on "Nick on CBS" from 2002 until 2004.

Shout! Factory provided me with a review copy of the DVD.  The opinions expressed here are my own.  I was not compensated for this review.
