This would be a great stocking stuffer!

BURBANK, Calif., May 20, 2011 — This coming holiday, Disney invites audiences of all ages to make Prep & Landing (the all-new modern classic Christmas tale) part of their family’s “must own” holiday-viewing collection! Arriving to DVD on November 22, 2011, Prep & Landing is the perfect blend of Christmas spirit, humor and entertaining characters that will keep the entire family grinning from ear-to-ear. Complete with two new bonus shorts - “Tiny’s Big Adventure” and “Operation Secret Santa” (which features Betty White as the voice of Mrs. Clause) – Prep & Landing will be available for the suggested retail price of $19.99 in the U.S. and $24.99 in Canada. It’s the perfect stocking stuffer for all ages! For more information on this release, please visit www.Disney.com/PrepAndLanding.

Prep & Landing is an adorable holiday story about a high-tech team of elves who ensure homes around the world are properly prepared for their visit from Santa. After working for a tireless 227 years, an elf named Wayne (voiced by Dave Foley) is upset when he doesn’t receive an expected promotion. Instead he is partnered with an idealistic rookie elf named Lanny (voiced by Derek Richardson) to execute a special Christmas Eve mission. While on their journey, Wayne and Lanny encounter unexpected challenges that push them to their limits and ultimately threaten Christmas for children around the world. But in the end, these two elves work together to guide Santa through a raging snowstorm in order to save Christmas.

Prep & Landing, which first debuted in 2009 as ABC TV’s first animated television special produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios, features the voice talents of DaveFoley (Disney●Pixar’s A Bug’s Life, Toy Story 2, Cars) as Wayne, Derek Richardson (TV’s “Men in Trees”) as Lanny, Sarah Chalke (TV’s “Scrubs” and “Roseanne”) as Magee, Mason Vale Cotton (TV’s “Desperate Housewives”) as Timmy Terwelp, David DeLuise (Disney Channel’s “Wizards of Waverley Place”) as Dancer, Peter Jacobson (TV’s “House M.D.,” Transformers) as Waterkotte, Lino DiSalvo (Disney’s Bolt) as Gristletoe Joe, William Morgan Sheppard (Transformers, The Prestige) as The Big Guy, Nathan Greno (Disney’s Bolt, Meet The Robinsons) as Dasher, Hayes MacArthur (Life As We Know It, She’s Out Of My League) as Thrasher and Kasha Kropinski (Fame, Big Fish) as Miss Holly.

Inspired by the beloved classic books that introduced us to a dozen delightful girls who live in an old house in Paris covered with vines, Madeline’s Christmas & Other Wintery Tales is full of spirited seasonal fun.

This collection contains five animated episodes, all making their DVD debut: Madeline's Winter Vacation, Madeline and Santa, Madeline at the North Pole, Madeline and the Ice Skates, and Madeline's Holiday with Mr. Grump.

As with all the Madeline DVDs I have received, I love it! I love holiday movies, and this really gets you in the spirit of Christmas! This DVD would make a great stocking stuffer or Christmas Eve present.

I can't express how much we love Wubbzy here in this house! I love the animation and colors, as well as the message every episode brings. Wubbzy and his pals are always teaching something great to my kiddos, and sometimes makes me think too. I am loving the new DVD...

WOW! WOW! WUBBZY! Fly Us to the Moon!
Out on DVD November 16th, 2010.

This would make a great stocking stuffer!

Preschoolers and Families Will Blast Off on Exciting Adventures With A Brand-New DVD Set to Send Imaginations Soaring!

Beverly Hills, CA – One small step for Wubbzy…one giant leap for Wuzzleburg! The countdown to fun for preschoolers begins with Wow! Wow! Wubbzy!, and the launch of the brand-new DVD, “Fly Us To The Moon.” Alongside Wubbzy, Widget, Walden and Daizy, young viewers will skyrocket into outer space to help wake The Man in the Moon, prepare for a special encounter with “alien” visitors and embark on many kooky space-age adventures! “Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! Fly Us To The Moon” from Anchor Bay Entertainment lands on shelves across the nation, Tuesday, November 16, 2010.

“Fly Us To The Moon” (SRP $16.98) is an action-packed collection of episodes featuring out-of-this-world special guests, including the Tooth Fairy, and larger-than-life superheroes like Captain Wonderpants and The Super Fixers. In “Warp Speed Wubbzy!,” Walden thinks he sees an approaching spaceship through his telescope and enthusiastically spreads the word that space visitors are coming! But, when Wubbzy and Widget discover that the “spaceship” is just a firefly on the lens, they fear Walden will be disappointed and decide to create their own “spaceship landing.” In the title episode, “Fly Us To The Moon,” it’s up to Wubbzy and his pals to wake up The Man in the Moon, who has fallen asleep and left Wuzzleburg in the dark. Preschoolers will embark on an unforgettable ride on Widget’s Rocket Racer, as Wubbzy tangles with space monsters, takes a journey on a runaway comet and falls into a spiral galaxy!

In addition, the new release includes episodes “Tooth or Dare,” “Wonder Wubbzy” and “The Super Fixers.” A bonus episode, “All Bottled Up,” as well as special extras such as coloring and activity sheets, music videos and special “sneak peeks” also are featured.

I am looking forward to the release of Disney's new animated film "Tangled" in 3D! In theaters November 24th! I have been seeing Tangled related merchandise throughout all the stores we frequent! I think these products are going to be a great holiday gift so you better get your hands on some now! My Mom just got my three year old a guitar with the characters from Tangled on it for Christmas. She will love it!

So what is "Tangled" you ask? It's Disney's take on the classic story of Rapunzel.

Tangled Synopsis
When the kingdom’s most wanted—and most charming—bandit Flynn Rider (voice of Zachary Levi) is taken hostage by Rapunzel (voice of Mandy Moore), a feisty teen with 70 feet of golden hair who’s looking for her ticket out of the tower where she’s been locked away for years, the unlikely duo sets off on a hilarious, hair-raising escapade filled with adventure, heart, humor and hair—lots of hair.

3 Winners will each receive a Character Tee along with a pack of Silly Bandz!

MANDATORY ENTRY

17 The Secret of Kells DVD ::Review & Giveaway:: CLOSED

Congratulations to comment #6!

The Secret of Kells is an Academy Award Nominee for Best Animated Feature, and I must say it deserves the title! Here's a bit about the movie, then I will tell you all what I loved about it!

The Academy Award-nominated family film, The Secret of Kells, a stunning, sweeping story about the power of imagination and faith came out on DVD and Blu-ray, October 5, 2010! This delightful and dazzling movie will have the whole family gathered together, mesmerized by the beauty on the screen and the powerful and uplifting plot.

In a remote medieval outpost of Ireland , young Brendan embarks on a new life of adventure when a celebrated master illuminator arrives from foreign lands carrying a book brimming with secret wisdom and powers. To help complete the magical book, Brendan has to overcome his deepest fears on a dangerous quest that takes him into the enchanted forest where mythical creatures hide. It is here that he meets the fairy Aisling, a mysterious young wolf-girl, who helps him along the way. But with the barbarians closing in, will Brendan’s determination and artistic vision illuminate the darkness against evil?

Hailed by critics and audiences alike as one of the most beautiful animated films of all time, The Secret of Kells (75 minutes) became the surprise nomination for Best Animated Feature at this year’s Academy Awards^® and received acclaim from The New York Times, USA Today, Los Angeles Times, Variety and more. This animated masterpiece also hails from the producers of Kirikou and the Sorceress and Triplets of Belleville!

Now....being an artist myself, I was in love with the graphics. The line drawings and the way the background and foreground worked with each other. Truly beautiful art! I would love to grab some stills and print them out to hang on the wall.

My kiddos are still small with the oldest being 3. She loved watching the movie, but I think she will get the story a lot more when she older. So, for an older children crowd, and adults, this story has a great meaning. We really enjoyed this movie, and you can too!

I have a "The Secret of Kells" DVD ready to ship to one lucky reader!

MANDATORY ENTRY
Visit The Secret of Kells website and let me know something you learned. It can be anything from the site. Cast members, where you can order the movie from, etc.

The Hair Coverings Store is a great place to shop online for all of your hair accessory needs. I could browse for hours there, and I do! I am excited to be able to review a couple products from them. I can assure you they are now located in my shopping folder on my toolbar!

So what all do they have available there? Many items! Including

Hair Clips
Bandana
Feather Headbands
Head Scarf
Hair Loss Coverings
Fashion Accessories
Headbands
Hair Accessories
Pony Holders
Banana Clips

I received two items for review. I got the Hot Pink Sequin Sheer Hair Net Headband & the White Flower on Lycra Headband. The pink headband works great for my short hair. I love the way it looks, and I love sparkles! It's perfect for when I am cleaning the house, or putting make-up on. Then it's easily super cute to wear out shopping!

I let my little girls wear the wide white headband and it's so adorable on both of them. It's great for everyday wear, but my 3 year old has worn it for dance class, and it's so sweet!

There are so many items available at Hair Coverings. I loved the products I received and they are made so well. They both fit very nice. I highly recommend HairCoverings.com.
