The Madeline Movie: Lost In Paris arrives in stores nationwide April 13th, 2010! That's today people!!! Let me tell you a little bit about the movie, then you must run out and grab one off the shelf before they are gone!

"Inspired by the beloved classic books that introduced us to a dozen delightful girls who live in an old house in Paris covered with vines, The Madeline Movie: Lost In Paris is full of spirited fun and five "fantastique" new songs. Screen legends Christopher Plummer (The Sound Of Music) and Lauren Bacall (The Big Sleep) co-star in the animated feature.

Both Plummer and Bacall had a big presence at this year’s Academy Awards® – Bacall was given an honorary Oscar for her work and Plummer was nominated for Best Supporting Actor for his role as Leo Tolstoy in The Last Station."

So, Madeline's long-lost Uncle Horst (Jason Alexander) visits unexpectedly and takes Madeline away. He promises her a new life, full of family and love. Soon into her new venture she realizes that her "new life" is not as great as she had expected. She uses her own wits and courage to get back the real family she has always known.

In my opinion, this is a great movie with a wonderful story. My daughter's eyes were fixated on the screen as she gave me a play by play account. Recognizing emotions, and happenings in the movie. Truly a great story! NOW is when you get up and go to the store to acquire your own copy of The Madeline Movie, Lost In Paris!
