22 WoW! WoW! Wubbzy Goes Green! {Review & Giveaway} CLOSED!

http://toybook.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/Wubbzy_GG_KeyArt-219x300.jpg
Just in time to celebrate our Earth! Earth Day was Thursday, but we don't have to stop celebrating!

To help celebrate the new release – and Mother Earth, Anchor Bay has partnered with the Alliance for Community Trees (ACT). For every “Wubbzy Goes Green” DVD sold, Anchor Bay will donate $1 to ACT to help support the planting of trees in playgrounds and schoolyards across the country! The special tree-plantin
g initiative “sprouts” on April 1 and continues through May 31, 2010.

And to further ”plant the seeds” of green-themed consciousness among the budding environmentalists in your family, following are some tips and cool “tree trivia” inspired by “Wubbzy Goes Green” and ACT:

* Take along washable cups or travel mugs instead of disposables.

* Turn off the faucet while
brushing your teeth.

* Volunteer with community organizations that plant trees like the Alliance for Community Trees!

Trees make for thriving children!

More facts about trees!

Cleaner air: Trees help trap and remove tiny particles of soot and dust, which otherwise damage human lungs, and tree r
oot networks filter contaminants in soils producing clean water. Four million trees would save $20 million in annual air pollution cleanup!***

Energy saver: The cooling effects of trees can save millions of energy dollars! Three to four shade trees located strategically around a house can cut summer cooling costs by 30-50%!***

Healthier children: Performing activities in green settings can reduce children’s Attention Deficit-Hyperactivity Disorder symptoms.**

I was sent a copy of the new DVD Wubbzy Goes Green. As always I popped it in the DVD player and watched along with my almost 3 year old who LOVES Wubbzy! I think it got both of us in the mood to plant our new flower and veggie seeds, as well as take care of our
Earth! A great DVD, full of inspiration and fun!

GIVEAWAY!
One lucky reader will get their own copy of Wubbzy Goes Green!
